Abstract The Presbyterian Church of Ghana originated from the missionary work of the Basel Mission, Moravian Christians from Jamaica, and the United Free Church of Scotland. Beginning in 1828, the Church expanded through strong African leadership, trained catechists, and wide missionary outreach.
